“I was so impressed by the orientation and support provided by the UCSC, which made the transition into a new country and culture far easier. From assistance with housing to navigating the Chilean identity card system and subject selection, university staff was always ready and willing to help. The Spanish for Foreigners Program, tailored specifically to the needs of students from non-Spanish speaking countries, gave us a firm foundation in Spanish for studying within the mainstream university in the second semester.
